This is next to the Swansea North Premier Inn.
I was staying there on Bank Holiday Monday, and we ate there ate night. The Taybarn concept is a buffet style restaurant (aka pub) where a you can eat as much as you like for £7.95. As you can guess, it was insanely busy on a sunny bank holiday.
If you were selective, some of the food from the huge array was actually reasonable. Some very nice battered fish, some tasty ribs and some reasonable gammon from the carvery, for example. The food was all cooked in front of you too.

Downsides - too busy to cope, despite being massive. Shortage of cutlery, plates, etc. Impossible to keep clean - especially with the large number of ankle biters present - we sat close to the ice cream machine which was most entertaining, and I did wonder exactly how much of the ice cream actually got eaten!
We also had breakfast there - and they did serve freshly made porridge, as part of the continental (cheaper) breakfast.
NOT foodie heaven by anyone's standards, but an interesting experience. Not a place for a quiet dinner for two either, but luckily I was with a colleague on business.
Regards,
White
