8 oz beans
1 pt water for beans
3/4 pint stock
olive oil
1 large finely sliced onion
2 teasp cumin
.... coriander
3 tabls mango chutney ( or sweet chutney) but I have used a tom chutney
savoury scone mix for topping
soak and simmer beans for 1 hour drain keep water
make up scone mix (can add cheese ,chives, herbs, onions leeks etc to ring the changes)
heat oil add onions cumin and car and cook until soft
stir in beans and chutney
add stock
put in casserole dish and put on cobbler
bake for about 30 mins
to ring the changes add veggies , mushrooms, tin of toms etc
