Doing an online tesco at the moment-and noticed an interesting seasoning, which might be worth trying, if you feel that some foods are a bit bland. It's called "tropical sun all purpose seasoning". Can't see a list of ingredients, but it sounds as if it might be an interesting mix.
The other one I use regularly is Lakeland's "Good with everything, herbed sea salt". Does add a bit of a zing! |

He does, it's nice to have such an appreciative consumer. |

Bearing in mind paella is meant to be salty...I had to add salt and pepper.
I think, because there were no salty shell fish in there, only less potent fish. Rice cooked well, and I'll cook it again, when I have the proper ingredients :D
Mark enjoyed it :D |
When the weather is good we put the paella pan on the BBQ and make a great paella. It just tastes so much better outdoors. |

I'm thinking of cooking another Paella next week whilst I have the outlaws here  On the BBQ could be good, although my pan is pretty new, I wouldn't want to burn it, or melt the handles :( _________________ http://positivechange.myfreeforum.org/index.php

You can use a little turmeric instead of saffron for colour but different flavour and you only need a little, I often use cider instead of wine for cooking, try adding a few bay leaves, lemon balm can be used instead of lemon too ,I use it a lot as most lemons go in the G & T and it is always there in the garden grows easily like mint !! I find I use lots of herbs and fresh is much nicer just got enough Basil to pick in the greenhouse had a couple of pickings of rocket too :)
