I usually have it with oatcakes, as I can't eat bread.
Always thought it would be nice with toast?
Not sure about freezing it, but think it should be ok. Maybe I'll make some at the weekend (not had any for ages!), and will freeze some to see.(Usually eat it all....)

I've only ever had it as a dip.. there must be other ways of eating it! Let me know how the freezing experiment goes Elaine! :D

I bought a jar of tahini ages ago, talking a couple of years! It's not opened and I checked the other day it's still not out of date...

I just checked and it doesn't say how long it will last once opened, it should be ok for about 8 weeks I'd guess like many things.

My jar says it will keep for up to 3 months, after opening, if kept in the fridge. My last jar didn't give a date either but it went bitter and 'claggy' after "Him Indoors" tidied it away in another cupboard to make room for his beer in the fridge!! q10

I think I still have a couple of tins in the cupboard... I showed Mum how to roast them when I was over there and her hubby rather enjoyed them!
