Wormeries

I have found they are quite expensive, but this one doesn't look too bad - http://www.wormcity.co.uk/shop/ecowormery-p-29.html

What do you think?

My other alternative is to get a standard composter which are cheaper but I only have a patio which means I'd need to find one with a stand... q9

It looks good, and I have some questions.

Where will you empty the "compost" when it's full?
You will still be left with compost, if you use a compost bin.
Badly composted compost is pretty yuk, if you have to move it. It's okay if you have a spade and wheelbarrow, but not if you have a patio and no garden to put it on.

Well I plan on having a 4ft x 4ft x 4ft garden thing, I think that's the dimensions... I think you can buy them ready made, so the compost will go in that! The wormeries make nice good quality compost called black gold so that's good, plus the liquid it makes is very good plant food!

So that's the plan... am going to grow some veg, although need to look into when I can plant certain things, I'm guessing winter may not be a good idea! q9
salt n pepper

thats quite a nifty idea.
i have two composts on the go and two empty (ready for next year )im going to rotate them
