What shall I cook on Sunday?

I have some friends coming on Sunday.....we went there this Sunday, and Libby had made a lovely lamb curry.

I have already cooked Roast Lamb for them, and they've had Fish Pie (which I took over when she was off her leg where she'd broken it).
I love cooking roast dinner, and curry is out. Ideas would be very welcomed  q9

How about chicken????  q5

How about the pork risotto I made before?  Did you try that out?

There is too much to choose from, you have to narrow it down a bit...  q9

Would you gamble a bit and risk a bbq?! Could be fun. But if you prepared a varity of kebabs, just in case, then they could always be cooked indoors if necessary. That with a couple of salads would be nice, and not too time consuming either.

q5  q5  It's chucking it down here today and very windy.  However, I could do a BBQ, as we can light it under the  porch where we park the car

Kebabs, sounds like a brill idea, and salads.....and Sunday has just been postponed for no...so plent of time for me to think about what and how to do the kebabs. Thanks.

Jo  q8  q8 , to have roast chicken, I'd have to cook poor old Trousers and I cannot eat him  q11  otherwise, I have no chicken yet. Soo, very soon, but not right now.

That's a great area for bbq-lucky you.
But the weather doesn't have to be too much of an issue-we've had a bbq on Hogmanay (aka New Years Eve!)-and in Scotland-and we do wet really well!

Just a little.....Was going to change it for something Easterish, but thought it a bit early, so went for the gruesome one. There are some quite amusing ones on photobucket, but I don't think they'd work too well as avatars. But you won't have to put up with flambe face for too long!
MissMuppet

Like your new avatar Elaine... cooking with twunts!!  q27

Ok chickens off the menu then, I thought you might have in the freezer from last time you slaughtered a load!
Nannyp

Jo....you make it sound so aggresive  q2

I haven't any in the freezer...hopefully will have 3 by the middle of next month. And then 5 more in May...and then some of the ones that are only just in the incubator today  q9
