Hi all and thanks for the warm welcome. Well what I know about cooking you could probably write on a postage stamp. However, I do know about eating and I love food ... probably a lot more than I should 
I could've done with you guys before. I took the kids to see my Mother and Stepfather and he presented me with a whole carrier bag full of long beans, and another one full of potatoes and onions. Mother says "slice them up and freeze them". Looking full of confidence, I nodded, to indicate that I wasn't completely stupid 
Well - got them home and started doing it and they resemble absolutely nothing that o/h has ever brought home from Sainsburys!
I hope you all look forward to me asking v.stoopid questions from now on!
Well done MissMuppet and Co for starting this Forum - I look forward to reading the many posts that are already on the numerous threads and will hopefully participate from time to time.
