Tim's Vinos and Tapas - Folkestone

I went here last weekend, and the food was gorgeous.  Now I need to remember what I had...

When we got there it was fully booked, but a little persuasion from the person I went with we managed to get a table.

We had bread and olive oil to start, and olives, although I didn't eat those.  We chose a set menu, which for the life of me I can't remember what was on it, mushrooms, meatballs and chicken were a couple.  I also had these king prawns in garlic butter with chocolate as a dip, they were gorgeous!!

The wine was nice too... Have no idea what it cost as I didn't pay, I think the set menu was about £23 per couple, so that wasn't bad.

Will be taking Mum and Mark here when they're over in July...  q19

Aww, Lesley, thanks.  If we were not hurrying backwards and forwards, I'd love to come and have a ride in your tub.....maybe I could cancel my ferry booking from Dunkerque, do you do channel crossings  q5  q5

The problem is, we do pass through, but normally wie're on a mission.
Thanks for the offer, hopefully we'll meet someday  q13

you are closer from dunquerque !! we are just about 30 mins from there  q9

q9 We're already leaving at the crack of sparrow fart, to get there in time for our ferry crossing.  We'd have to leave incredibly early to arrive with you for even an hour, which would not be enough.  I'd hate that, just a quick hello, and I know what I am like, I'd spend more time being anxious about time  q5  q5
caprice62

hate that time thing !! I am always way to early so that I don't stress about being late  q5
