A large group of us (14) went to this bar/restaurant for my BIL's 40th a few weeks ago. It's a modern/trendy restaurant & looks really nice & they have music in the evenings also. We chose from the set menu & I must admit my food was delicious, I had scallops for starters-excellent, sea bass for mains-also excellent & Bailey's choc mousse for dessert- good but couldn't really taste the Baileys!!
However the disappointing side was that all those that ordered the steak complained. The steaks were cold when they arrived. They were sent back (about 7 plates) & then when returned again still weren't perfect. One man sent his back a 3rd time!! & next time it came back it was overcooked- he'd asked for it medium-rare. We obviously complained & got a free bottle of champagne which didn't go far between 14 people. We also didn't pay the service charge. Otherwise it was avery enjoyable evening but unfortunately this place has had other reviews stating that food was delayed & not hot!! I think if a chef can't cook a steak properly maybe they shouldn't be working in a kitchen or maybe it was down to poor service.
