The Food of Love by Anthony Capella

I read this a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The storyline was a bit weak but the food descriptions certainly made up for it. There's a review on the RiSi forums here. :D

i have it after buying it cheap on ebay and will start it soon...will be interesting as a chef to see how much i enjoy it plus my best mate Sarah says its a very girly book and wants to see how in touch i am with my feminine side...?!!??

i mean i know certain people call me Sparkles but honestly- my feminine side??!!??

Have just started this and wow what can i say-its brilliant!!
Only few chapters in and already know I am not going to be able to put this down....the food stuff is spot on and the chef throwing the birthday party out of his restaurant was absolutely hilarious and soo true to life of top-class chefs.....there have been so many times we have wanted to do that with some of our customers in the restaurant i work at....will let you know what i think when i've finished

I must admit it did make me laugh in parts, it has something for everyone and that's why I'm keeping it, I will probably read it again someday.

Thought the book was OK but not the best thing I've ever read. It is one for food lovers though as the food descriptions were wonderful.

just finished today and though thought the ending was bit too convenient-loved all the food descriptions and the locations though.
while reading this i coud taste every flavour and with every page i felt as though i was back in Rome again-it was where me n vicky had our honeymoon this time last year and was a wonderful experience!!

this was certainly one of the better books i have read recently but the ending did let it down a little for me-that said, being a chef, i did enjoy this book much more than i thought i would.....so glad i picked it up now!!

I have to agree with you Sparky, a bit too convenient at the end but soooo yummy I forgave him. Don't bother with his other one though (I can't even remember the title) it is not a patch on this one. Oh its The Wedding Officer.
