Sandwich fillingI found some late raspberries yesterday, only a large handful.
Didn't know what to do with them, so, last night for our tea, we had Nutella and raspberry sandwiches.....they were yummy.
No butter by the way, so not so fattening
Roll on pay day so we can have some nicer stuff for tea

Hens are on strike, so no eggs for eggy bread.
I have meals, but nothing nice to put with our bread.
Now eating Marmite on toast....no butter (that's normal though).

Cheese, peanut butter, tuna, corned beef ....chestnuts

Cheese, used the rest up in our pasta and salad today.
Tuna, oh yes, I have some, we'll have than and cucumber tomorrow....not something I fancy later in the evening though.
We've eaten so much peanut butter it's not so nice now, so have been avoiding it. Had it two nights ago though, with some sweet chilli sauce on top.
CHESTNUTS No.....I am sick of bloody chestnuts

we had poor mans supper last night (well thats what I call it cos its all leftovers)
fried up some lardons in a little butter until they are golden add finely chopped onions and garlic if you have a left over boiled potato (which we always have ready boiled in thier skins in a bowl for emergency hot pot and onion sandwiches, jacket spuds etc) cover with sliced cabbage aadd a little water or tomato juice loads of pepper put lid on and cook its also nice stuck into a pie dish with pastry on and served with lots of onion gravy
I do an indian version with pataks paste as well (lovely) to go with a curry or just on its own
