Sabatino`s, Newport, Gwentwe have used this restaurant quite a bit and have always been more than satisfied with the meal.
The menu is quite extensive including veal, fish, and all the usual meats. There is also a good selection of pasta.
Prices are average for the area and it is advisable to book beforehand especially on a weekend.

(When we lived in Cardiff we used to regularly go to a Welsh restaurant on Whitchurch Road-wonder if it's still there....)

Had a lovely meal thanks Elaine, I had fish and Grace had steak.
We do not go to Cardiff very often so would not be able to tell you if the reataurant was still there.
Neither of us are big shoppers so to travel to Cardiff holds no great appeal for us wheen we can get all we require closer to home.
