Risotto?My step sister told me today that she made herself a very garlicy risotto last week when she had a cold and it really helped... I bought some risotto rice earlier and I have garlic but what else shall I add? I have some chestnut mushrooms and some bacon in the fridge?
On the back of the rice it says to add stock and white wine, do you think cider will be ok as I don't have wine??

Should be fine-anything you have available really.Think that's one of the reasons I love things like risotto/stirfys-you can pretty much add in anything.

The risotto was nice by the way... couldn't taste the cider but the garlic was pretty powerful!! Still ill today though, off to the doctors later...
