Recommendations please...I have narrowed my kitchen spree down to a few items I need... can anyone recommend any of the following?

Have always been quite happy with my Phillips food processor.
Pricedrop have a set of AWT knives for £37, (exc. P + P) which sounds ok, although a quick look on Amazon gives you a lot of alternatives in the region of £30 as well.

Electronic Scales - Asda or tesco (not all shops have them though) at less than £15.00. You can put your dish or plate on them and zero after each ingrediant.
I use them for my portion control. e.g put my cereal bolw on and add 40g of cereal, reset to zero add 10 - 15 gsm seeds (keeps me full for longer), reset to zero add 5g linseed (helps the other end), reset to zero and add 100g skimmed milk.

Well done Dave. I regularly check their clearance bargains, and have had some great quality Egyptian cotton sheets for a few pounds, towel bales-again fantastic quality for about a fiver. I even got 6 mugs recently for something like £2.74!
