Raising Kids is an excellent website for parents. They have a food & nutrition section on the site. If you haven't come across their website, here's a link to the food & nutrition section:

oh yes i forgt Spag Bol, he is pasta mad. He doesn't eat typical childrens food like fish fingers, nuggets etc he has quite grown up food, we tend to do him whatever we're having unless its spicy then its pasta and pesto!

Rachels the same really, apart from the fish fingers which she loves. The trouble I have is that John and I eat different things so half the time all 3 of us eat 3 different meals. I need to come up with things that all 3 of us like or at least 2 of us! I know when I cook my fish pie Rachel and I eat it but John won't go near it!

I couldn't be doing that, we all eat the same or they go hungry. i only do something different for Michael if its something i know he wouldn't like, and thats only spicy stuff really

You know, Charis is the same. She wouldn't eat the fish fingers I gave her for lunch. She loves pasta & pesto too, chocolate, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chocolate, risotto, cheese, and chocolate!

She's really good with vegetables and fruit, thank goodness and I give her an IQ sachet everyday. Will post about this. It's full of omega 3 and 6 and is brilliant in loads of ways. Her dry skin patches have disappeared since she started taking them, including her cradle cap patches. She's 2.

I'm hoping this part of the forum will be a great place to find inspiration for Charis's/family meals.
