Pre-cooking Risotto

I looked this up online earlier as when Marc gets home he'll be starving and as risotto takes a while I thought I could do some of it before hand...

Well I have done it, it's now on a baking tray in the fridge to cool... I really hope it's ok later when I want to finish it off!  q9

Also made a trifle for pudding, well it was his birthday yesterday!  Oh and I bought 4 chocolate cup cakes (I ate 2 last night) and will put a candle on one of these for him... A bottle of wine and we'll both be fast asleep come 10pm!  q5

Did it work Jo? I have never heard of pre-cooking risotto.
