Pork ChopsI have boneless pork chops, onions, mushrooms fresh & dried, old & new Potatoes, broccolli, carrotts and of course all the store cupboard stuff like pasta, rice ,tinned toms, and home made apple jelly

:( as no one was inspired iIcut up the chops and added onion home dried tomatoes and last of the carotts and mushrooms cooked it in cider in the slow cooker and we are just going to eat it with basmatti and wild rice with a few frozen peas !

Shame no-one had any ideas Gilly... I unfortunately have no idea what to do with stuff, what you did sounds nice though.

Oh dear, no one came up with anything....your list was too long for me Gilly, I've not been feeling well..so too complicated :lol:
I like the sound of what you did, I often cook pork casserole in cider in the slow cooker.

:lol: no problems I enjoy cooking ! but would like to get out of the rut from time to time I guess we all stay with old favourites I added some dessert apple just before serving and it was good :wink:

Gilly, I've hardly been doing anything...and Jo will tell you, I'm not one to over do things
The carrots are completely overun with weeds....I'd need to get down on hands and knees to weed them...I don't do knees :?

but carotts are food sorry in advance :oops:
only weed the carotts when wet from rain and beware if you bruise the leaves the carrott fly will be there we grow ours in raised beds they only fly low appently or put up some barrier around them or your crop will be full of holes ! I have only just lifted the last of ours but very mild here on the coast I never even thin ours just pull to eat !
