Not had a good day...This morning when I was making some breakfast I managed to knock over a jar which was soaking to go into the recycling, it was full of water!!! It went everywhere, even under the sink in the cupboard below...
Just put my dinner on and could smell burning, then sparks and realised my slow cooker lead was in the flame on the hob!! 
Not sure I can save it, will need to see if I have ruined it or whether some of that wire tape will sort it out.
Feel really rubbish today, not sure it's a good idea to go back to work just yet...

Its not the 13th is it?.
Be careful with the electrical wire Jo, the cable could probably be replaced without too much trouble if you can do that or know someone that can. How is Dan in that department.

Blimey Jo, be careful...you are definitely not well, and need someone to be looking after you...or eating take away only!

Maybe I'll get Dan on the case, although he managed to make 2 holes in my wall the other day... 
Won't use it until I have spoken to an expert, shame as I was going to make a casserole in it this week!

Oh and I forgot to mention on Friday I thought the caramel I got from Natoora would be nice melted over icecream... so I put it in a glass in the microwave and bang, the glass broke and there was caramel everywhere!!
Not having a good time of it lately, maybe I should consider takeaway until I am better...

I did tell him off for not coming on here... I will try harder!!
He's eating out tonight, I don't think he's had to cook for himself for about a week, wish I was that lucky!!

Hope that you have a better day tomorrow-maybe the medication is making you a bit "slow" (says she diplomatically). It just doesn't sound like you to have cables trailing over your hob!

Christ on a (push) bike - does everyone know my name in here ! LOL. We'll get some insulation tape rond it if it's not too bad, or splice it together with a terminal block.

Errr excuse me young lady - the hole in the wall was vreated by having a crap wall that couldn't even be used with the proper plasterboard fixings.. in a plaster board wall !

Meal was lovely - had bangers and mash with gorgeous onion gravy and chocolate and praline truffle torte for afters - started with a cold pint of magners too  There was james and myself thinking Pfizer was picking up the tab and then we had to pay for it ! Grrrr. Oh well, it was only £13.
