We often have Lasagna and the recipe is almost the same except we go a bit heavier on herbs and spices.
It is gorgeous.

I make it regularly too. Was surprised at your short cooking time-mine seems to take closer to 40 mins.I also add parsley to the cheese sauce....don't know why, just do!

At a push we have used Bisto cheese sauce granules and it is no too bad although not as good as real cheese.

I made this tonight, and there is enough for 2 more meals....so good value.

I will change it when I do it again..More garlic, much more basil and less tomato puree, it was weigh to tomatoey (I know that's wrong) for me.
The cheese sauce was funny.....I used grated Emmental (it comes in bags ready grated over here) and my sauce ended up like a large elastic clump!

I haven't made Lasagne for years (not since I left your Dad Jo)...so, I enjoyed it somewhat...and will make some more again.  Oh and I will buy chopped tomatoes

does anyone ever put very thinly sliced boiled eggs on their layer of cheese sauce ,my italian aunt always did it and it's something i've copied
roughly the same recipe
dingsy

I add eggs in this way if making a fishpie, but haven't done so with lasagne! Might try it next time.

You Italian's  q2 , always have to go one better  q5  q5

I've not heard that before Suz.....sounds like another way to get rid of the odd egg, which could possibly be why she did it.
