Yes me, I have been very impressed by the slaughter men so far
MissMuppet

I've seen it on the BBC iPlayer and will probably have a watch over the weekend... what night is it normally on and what time?  Don't know why I've not seen it advertised!
Gilly C

10.30pm BBC 3
MissMuppet

Ahhh that will be why then as I don't get BBC3 on my freeview, better go watch it online then...  q5

I don't get any BBC channels on mine, the signal isn't strong enough... it's a right pain!  I do however get BBC4 which is strange, BBC Parliment (like I'll watch that), CBeebies and the Radio stations!!  q9

Living by the sea it plays havoc with the TV but usually 1 of them works but terrestrial TV is just a snowstorm   q9
the bloke who fitted the sky dish told me it was the tides, but seems to be wind and weather too as we are on a headland we get plenty !
MissMuppet

Yeah I think I may have the same problem... the aerial moved a few weeks ago in the wind and I got all the channels I'd not been able to before, but now it's back to normal again.  q11

I thought this was a very thought provoking show - I only caught the last one which was a kind of omnibus edition, but it certainly gave me some stuff to think about.

The theme of this series was the slaughter and cooking of baby animals, and I can't honestly say I've ever eaten a suckling pig or kid goat, but I have had veal and they raised some interesting points...

The graphic slaughter of the 10 week old calves was pretty hard to watch and made me think twice about eating veal again - but it was nothing compared to the section later where a slaughterman was brought in to shoot two 1-week old dairy calves point blank in the head purely because they were male.

What was his answer to this senseless waste of life? Eat more veal, then at least these calves would live a bit longer and have some purpose!

If that's not confusing I don't know what is...

I was going to watch this, but might give it a miss now after what you told me James!  q20
