I cancelled it...Emailed Petrus yesterday to cancel my booking for my birthday... bit sad but to be honest I don't have the money at the moment anyway! My friend is booking a table at the Mexican near her instead so I should be able to scrape some money together for that... :lol:

That's a real shame Jo, but I wouldnt enjoy something if I was worrying about the money. Once you get a new job, why not save all your £2 coins, it soon adds up - you would be surprised. That's what we do, then when we have a good amount we treat ourselves to a really nice meal somewhere.

Think you made the right decision-as Ann said, you probably wouldn't have enjoyed it if it's outwith your budget. Enjoy the Mexican, though!
