How many eggs?

I have been living under the old assumption that eggs were bad for those who suffer high cholesterol.  In the recesses of my mind, I thought that research had been done to change the view, which I had understood from the early 80's.  Finally, I decided to Google and am pleased with what I have found.

How many eggs

Quote:
Thanks to this newfound knowledge, the Food Standards Agency doesn’t recommend limiting the number of eggs you eat, unless your GP or a dietitian has specifically advised you to do this. This is great news for slimmers as eggs contain just 85 calories each but are packed with nutrients including protein, zinc, iron, iodine and vitamins A, D, E and some B vitamins...

So, by the time I had read this and read it out to mark, he'd already finished the egg/mayo and chives sandwich...so too late for to him enjoy it even more  :D

I am really pleased as I am always concerned about the quantity we consume each week....so now I know that I can serve eggs more often  :D

We give our dog scrambled egg if he has a bit of tummy upset, he loves it.

That's good to know because I don't like to eat too many eggs each week...

Oh and by the way I stole Dad's magazine from a newspaper at the weekend as it had some egg recipes in it so will send that on at some point!  q9
