HiyaI found this through Nanny P on a poultry forum, I love cooking and grow my own vegatables and have Silkies for egg laying I have 3 children 2 daughters who are married and live in Yorkshire and a son in the Army and a Grandaughter Martha age 14 months and 2 step Grandchildren Harry 9 and Holly 5. I live in the South Lakes there is lots of good food sources here and I get Salt Marsh Lamb for the Freezer from my neighbour :)

We love nothing better than getting round the table to some good food :) in fact my Daughter, Son in Law and the step Grandchildren are her next weekend I can't wait we don't see the kids much and I haven't see them since New Year :lol:

Yes we do we are only 100yds from the high waterline we overlook Morecambe Bay on a clear day we can see Ingleborough in Yorkshire though we are on the west coast we face east !!!! lots of birds and wildlife, we are very priveleged though not our house, my husband runs an Outdoor Education Centre and we live on site, we have a house in Harrogate another beautiful part of the country !

I'm getting really nosey now. On another post you mentioned your husband went sailing on a Tuesday night. Is that on Windermere with Blackwell Sailing?

Yes we live at Humphrey Head Outdoor centre and Dave has gone sailing with Blackwell :D you get the gold star !

I live on the over side of the Bay under Farlton Knot. I used to do the accounts for Blackwell and did go sailing with them on occasions.(not much good at it). I have a sister with Downs and I also work for a charity thats works with people with learning and physical disabilities in Kendal. So that is how I got invovled.
