Fresh Pods

I have been using these in my fruit & veg draw and about to buy some refills. They definitely seem to work as my fruit & veg lasts longer.

Why Choose Fresh Pod

Government figures show that we throw away on average over £400 of food per year. Two thirds of this waste is estimated to be fruit and vegetables!

Now you can save money, stop unnecessary wastage and contribute to a greener planet with Fresh Pod.

Completely natural and safe, placing Fresh Pod in your fridge will extend the life of fruit and vegetables by up to four times longer than normal without the use of harmful chemicals and without losing any of the freshness, taste and texture.

How Fresh Pod Works

How Fresh Pod Works All fruit and vegetables naturally produce ethylene gas as they age and ripen.

Ethylene gas is odourless, tasteless and harmless, (unless you are a fruit or vegetable) the gas given off builds up in your refrigerator causing your produce to rot prematurely.

The Fresh Pod sachets absorb and remove ethylene from the environment, slowing down the ageing and ripening process and keeping your fruit and vegetables fresh for up to 4 times longer than normal.

How Do I Use Fresh Pod?

It's easy! Simply place the Pods into your fridge salad drawer along with your fruit and vegetables and that's it. For maximum freshness, remove any fruit and vegetables from any sealed packaging.
Maximum Freshness Minimum Effort

For best results be sure to change the sachet in your Fresh Pods every 6 months. Keep spare sachets in the re-sealable bag provided. When due for replacement simply open the pod, remove the old sachet and replace. Be kind to the environment - sprinkle the old contents onto your pot plants, it is full of goodness for them.

Wow, how clever....and I haven't clicked the link yet to see how much  q5

I don't keep my veg in the fridge at this time of the year, as the utility room is very cold and quite dark.  In fact, I discovered that you shouldn't keep potatoes in the fridge...so have stopped doing that anyway.

But for salad, especially lettuce which always manages to go soggy before I have managed to eat it, it sounds brilliant. Off to check out the link.

Never have kept them in the fridge. I keep them in a basket with the onions, pumpkin, garlic etc.

Me too-and add in swede. I used to have a potato terracotta crock whick looked cute-like a small sack of pots! But now have a two tier basket rack in the kitchen which does for these vegs-and sometimes more, if the fridge is full to overflowing!
