Equazen Eye-Q - Omega OilsWe started giving Charis Eye-Q sachets twice a day 2 months ago. They're brilliant. Her dry skin patches have disappeared. I read that the Government is to give them free to children of school age after the pilot scheme in Durham showed that the kids achieved higher grades than normal (omega oils are said to aid concentration too). My friend is a tutor for children with Aspergers and autism and the children she teaches take eye-Q too.
| Quote: | | Testimonials from parents and children have indicated real benefits in learning ability and concentration. eye q has become the supplement of choice in the UK and leading European markets for anyone with concerns about fatty acid deficiency in learning and behaviour. The formulation has been scientifically tested, most notably in the ground-breaking Durham schools trial, the most thorough study yet of how fatty acids may be of benefit in the classroom. |
The only downfall is that eye-Q isn't cheap to buy. It's £15 for 30 sachets/capsules and for the first 3 months, you take it twice a day to increase your body's stores of omega oils.
Here's the website for more info:

Think my nephew was taking some kind of Omega tablets, I'm sure my brother saw an improvement in his behaviour and concentration.

That's good to hear, Jo. I just worry that because we don't eat a lot of fish, that Charis isn't getting enough omega oils in her diet. Wouldn't mind taking them myself!

my youngest daughter has ADHD, her doctor recommended Omega 3, but it's not available on prescription even though the benefits are recognised.
It's so expensive that there's no way I can afford to buy the recommended monthly dose :?
