CHRISTMAS DINNER WILL BE.....

Roast Rib of Beef, Yorkshire Pudding, Home grown Runner beans, Brussels, Carrots, Roasties done in duck fat, gravy and horseradish sauce.

Dessert will be Christmas Pudding (we're not too bothered about it, but it needs eating it was purchased last year) and Custard or some sort of cream if I decide to go shopping at the last minute tomorrow.

I have a small amount of Turkey, to make sandwiches in the eveing, along with some chesnut stuffing, without whcih apparently, its not Christmas (for Mark)!

What about you, what are you having?

Cheating completely this year and having everything pre-prepared from M+S! had I known that I would have beeen feeling well enough, we would have gone with the tried and tested original. But, this all looks lovely! Brian collected it this afternoon, and the main course will be a stuffed and rolled ballotine of turkey, duck and chicken, wrapped in prosciuttio. It looks divine! The usual veg and accompaniments, followed by trifle for Jen and Brian, and Xmas puddings (a small gluten free one for me), for Iain and I. We've dispensed with a starter this year, so we can get to the main course sooner....
Am very impressed with the quality of it all. We also got a large box of snacks for the evening.A ready cooked roast and crumbed gammon for Boxing Day,so a few days for me spending very little time in the kitchen!

We also have gone for the easy version, we have booked a Christmas Dinner out, no hassle unless there is 6 foot of snow falls overnight.
