Bread & Butter Pudding

I'm attempting a bread & butter pudding this afternoon, I had a loaf of bread in the freezer which I didn't like so thought I would put it to good use... It's now standing for an hour before it goes in the oven!! I hope it turns out ok as I might take a bit to work this week...

Have you seen the Sainsbury ad where Jamie does it with hot cross buns....It's at times like that I wish I could eat wheat!

Ooo not seen that Elaine, I know there is one you can do with croissants! Like I would have left over croissants or hot cross buns for that matter!

Well it turned out rather nice, I have divided it into 6 portions and I ate one just to make sure it was ok...

It was!!!

Glad it turned out well.
It's also good that you can eat things that include wheat and yeast, as ibs often thrives on these two.

Well I wasn't so restrained, I had another piece too...

I can't eat bread during the day Elaine, but toasted or if I'm at home I can get away with it. I can feel that maybe 2 pieces of this wasn't such a good idea though!

Did you take some to work, or are you saving it for when you;re at home.

It's in the freezer, going to save it for home just incase it affects me in the wrong way!

You can make a really nice one with croissants.
