Blast from the past

I am cooking for 6 on Sunday.
Roast leg of lamb (my lamb from across the road...well not mine, but it is now!)

I thought I'd do Prawn Cocktail, which for you young peeps, was the thing to have in the 70's!
Anybody any special recipes for this, things that they put in?

My in my head recipe will be
Mayonaisse, tomato kechup or puree, a smidgeon of cayenne, prawns and a sprinkle of paprika on top.

They did one of these on Saturday Kitchen the other week... you might find it on the website!  www.bbc.co.uk/food

If I find it I'll post it!  q9

Thanks Jo, it looks yummy, and now I am torn...do I use my eggs, do I make my own mayo, or do I use the Hellmans (I know, I know battery eggs) I bought yesterday.
Davbro

Battery eggs, that should light up your life.  q15
