This new programme will be aired on BBC Two in 2007, and is looking for people whose kitchen skills are in drastic need of improvement. To apply to be on the show or to nominate a friend, family member or colleague, visit www.kitchencriminals.com.

The presenters
The hosts of Kitchen Criminals are Michelin-starred chefs Angela Hartnett and John Burton Race, and they will be signing up needy home cooks for an exclusive cookery course packed with essential first principles to help them master culinary techniques used by pro chefs.

Learn new techniques
Those appearing on the show will walk away with kitchen skills they never imagined were possible. If chosen as the most-improved, they'll also win a great prize to share with a friend.

Oh my God I just got an email saying I'd been chosen, I have emailed back straight away saying I can make it!!!!! I think it's this one, I don't think I applied to any other TV show... :shock: Although reading it again the show's called Market Kitchen so who knows what I'm letting myself in for!

Hello,

I’m writing because I have selected your application to be on UKTV Food’s new show, Market Kitchen. If you are indeed interested in taking part in our filming (at our Kentish Town studios) on any upcoming Wednesday or Thursday (Friday 25th of May is also available as an exception), then please do let me know by getting in touch as soon as possible on 0207 482 8644 or via this e-mail.

If chosen, you would have the option of either coming in for the full day, which begins at 8:30 AM, or from 2PM until evening. Remember, the show is interactive, which means that you would be taking part in tastings and very likely to speak on camera with our presenters.

Please bear in mind that our interactive audiences are quite small (about 10 people) and that we do have limited spaces, so the sooner you get in touch with me the better! Friends and partners are welcome too !

I've not heard back from her so not sure if my rapid response was rapid enough... and yeah I don't have UKTV so I can't see it either!
