Andiamo, Giffnock, GlasgowA fabulous meal , in fabulous surroundings. A beautifully laid out and decorated restaurant, with efficient service and friendly staff, it made for a meal to remember.
We opted to omit a starter, having been distracted by the gorgeous desserts, as we went in. But we both struggled to finish our main courses, so ended with coffee. I had spicy seafood risotto. So tasty, with just the right balance of seasoning,loads of very fresh and delicious seafood. It was a huge portion, and I managed to eat about 2 thirds of it. My friend did slightly better with her king prawn linguine, as she managed to finish it all-garlic bread too! We counted 10 huge-and I mean huge, prawns.
Quiter pricy- the bill was £35, but it was excellent food, first class service, and a friendly, but fun atmosphere, so money well spent.Maybe I'll manage a dessert next time (and to think we set out to have an indian meal.....)
