and its hello from him...

Hi all, Kitchenboy here :) Thanks to NannyP for telling me about this place.

I'm an avid cook, love kitchen gadgets, finding new ingredients etc. I live in the south of France on the Provence/Rhone Alpes border so finding good fresh produce is not difficult. I've worked in the catering/hospitality industry for most of my working life but gave all that up three years ago to run our own B&B (Chambre d'hote) here in France.

OK so now I'm off to steal some of your recipes :) I'm always looking out for simple but impressively difficult looking dishes to offer the guests :)
MissMuppet

Breakfast is a speciality :)
Jerseygirl

Looks fab, may see you in summer 2009!
Kitchenboy

That would be nice :) The area we are in is not so well known to the Brits, but in my opinion, it is the most beautiful part of Provence as its more mountainous than further south. Our area is known for its goats cheese (Picodon) and the local plonk isn't half bad either at 1 Euro a litre :)
Jerseygirl

Hey I'm Jersey not Brit!!
Vanessa

Oh lord, Kitchenboy ... you get a potential new booking, then go and insult her!! q21 Think you've got some making up to do q5
Kitchenboy

Geography never was my strong point q12 but isn't Jersey British? q18

NOooooooo part of the UK, NOT part of Britain!
AND we are closer to France, only 15 miles away!

But its OK I will forgive you for that fab breakfast!
Kitchenboy

LOL OK so now I know q21

I'm originally from the Isle of Wight, the French usually think it is part of the Channel Islands q2
dingsy

I'm Scottish, but according to Americans, I'm apparently English."Say, where in England is Scotland?" Unless it's those American who have ancestors from Scotland, who are more Scottish than the Scots!!
Nannyp

I hope you lot aren't being led astray by Kitchenboy and going off topic q8 q8 q5
dingsy

I'm on my bestest behaviour I'll have you know!!! q2 You'll give these good people the wrong impression of me q21
Jerseygirl

We prefer people who are not on their best behaviour, it's much more fun q12
Nannyp

I think Kitchenboy...it's fair to give some warning of what could happen now you're here.
And, where's your Avi, so all the women can get jealous of your hat q12
