Aluminium CookwareNot sure whether this is in the right place. AnywayI happen to mention to someone about my problems with my health for the last 10 years, when she asked me do I use aluminium saucepans, to which I replied I had all my married life of over 30 years. She bought to my notice an article on aluminium poisoning. One of the links may be of interest to others.

I know I am going to switch to stainless steel, at least for a while to see if the symptoms I have experienced go away. I would be happy if they do. :D

Interesting website. The only thing I had ever heard about aluminium pans was that prolonged use was linked to Altzheimer's. I was given a set of aluminium pans when I first set up home but switched to stainless steel when I got a Christmas bonus one year  . Any saucepans I have bought since have all been SS because I used to have a dishwasher and SS is the best material.

I only heard about Altzheimers link just recently too. I have stopped cooking in aluminium saucepans two days ago, and if we look around our food cupboard, there are a lot of things that contain aluminium, not only as packaging but also minutes added to food, I am told......scary. Give them up too! I will see if there is improvement in my health, in the next few weeks. Whoopee if there is!
