As I will be living on this for another 2 weeks I thought maybe some of you can give me some ideas for something a bit different...
I have herbs/spices at home and will buy some mushrooms and bacon on the way home tonight, I also have onions and garlic at home!
I usually do garlic, onions, mushrooms and salt/pepper with a tin of chopped tomatoes... not even sure there are any alternatives?!! _________________ Positive Change |

It would be a really good idea to make up a large amount, so will save you doing it each time.
I push the tomatoes through a seive to leave the pips and skin behind, it takes some doing, but makes a nicer sauce.
Then, like you, I chuck in loads of seasoning, garlic, basil, tomato puree.
Simmer for 20 mins to reduce and thicken the sauce. _________________ http://positivechange.myfreeforum.org/index.php

Mine tastes ok... can't be farting around picking all the seeds out at 6.45 every night! _________________ Positive Change |

| Grating some cheese over the top is good. And if you do it as a pasta bake , that gives a bit of variety. You can get value tins of tuna from tesco, for I think about 30p, so that would add a bit of variety too. Sweetcorn? |
