Can anyone recommend shops (whether online or not) where I can buy some good quality cooking equipment?

Need to get a decent mixing bowl(s) and cooling rack.

Thank you. Glynis

You can buy from Nisbetts online too, Lakeland are good but overpriced on some things Sainsbury's have a good range if you have a larger store, I tend to buy on impulse then either pass on to the kids or Freecycle the old stuff so not to get snowed under  !

Thanks guys will look at Nisbett's and no doubt order a brochure!

Have looked at Lakeland's. Great choice but pricey, I agree.

I've been buying Prestige baking tins from Asda and they're fab. Not too dear either.

What about John Lewis (may have changed their name) if you have one in your area. I like their range of electrical equipment and they have a good range of cookware too. I never found them expensive for the quality. :o

TKMAXX often have some very good quality kitchen utensils at low prices. I recently got a big heavy roasting dish for £9.99 and a griddle pan with fold down handle for £6.99 and some 'rubber' muffin trays for half the RRP.

We've had some fantastic bargains from there too. Surprisingly, on the odd occasion ALDI have some fantastic cookware bargains q3

Not been to Aldi, but that hefty cookware can be really expensive and wielding it regularly, helps to stop the 'bingo wings' from developing. q5
