I went here last night for my friend's birthday, I've never been before and not really heard about it to be honest.

We arrived at 7.30pm, we had seats in the conservatory type thing at the front which was really nice.  Ordered some drinks, really good service.  Nothing was rushed and we didn't leave until 10.15pm...

The food was lovely, I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese/lemon pate for starters... the others had goat's chesse.  For main I had the partridge breast which although there wasn't much was cooked really well and was just enough.  All the meals came with vegetables and potatoes... I think the others had steak!

The dessert trolley was to die for... there was a great choice!!!  I had strawberry meringue, chocolate/raspberry roulade and some fresh raspberries... I couldn't decide so she said I could have a bit of each of them.

The bill came to £120, that was for 4 of us... we all had 3 courses, a couple of drinks each and some had coffees.  Very reasonable and the food and service was excellent!!!!

It does sound nice-especially the starter. It makes such a difference too, when the service is so good, and you're not being rushed. Sounds like you'll go again!
