This is from The Times Book of Vegetarian Cookery.
I will make this one evening too, looks really quick, easy and tasty!
Serves 4-6
1lb / 475g dried pasta
12oz / 340g Broccoli
3 tbsp cream or olive oil
4oz / 110g blue cheese, crumbled
1-2 tbsp chopped chives
Freshly ground black pepper
Cook pasta as you would normally. Five mins before the end of cooking, add broccoli florets. Drain together and toss in cream or olive oil. Stir in the cheese and chives and a little freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately. _________________ http://positivechange.myfreeforum.org/index.php

I'm not sure about the blue cheese... but otherwise it sounds nice! _________________ Positive Change |

I'm not a lover of blue cheese, and the 2nd one I made I used Roquefort (?) and I'm not sure it agreed with me (nuff said).
You could easily change the cheese for feta, or something that white and soft that crumbles...and the meal will be just as good. _________________ http://positivechange.myfreeforum.org/index.php

Voila! and Marc likes brocolli so you can't go wrong. It's really quick and easy to make too.
Our friends, who are moving away, gave us a big, heavy, pottery bowl (for serving shell fish in I think). It has a lovely navy coloured border around the edge. There was only us two, and I tipped the pasta dish into the bowl, it looked really lovely and I wished we had guests to serve it too.
For a quick meal, it's impressive to look at and eat. _________________ http://positivechange.myfreeforum.org/index.php

| Even if you're not keen on blue cheese, try Yorkshire Blue, if you get a chance. It really is gorgeous-much milder and creamier than the usual blue cheese. I'm also really keen on Shropshire Blue (and I don't mean Glynis-although she's lovely too!) |
