Well this place was recommended by James, who then didn't come along... he's far too busy spending his money on other things! q8

We arrived a little early but our table was ready, we had one of those booth style tables which was nice, 4 on one side and 3 on the other.  We were all gasping for a drink, so we started off with a round of soft drinks which pretty much lasted all of 5 minutes.

We all chose the pre-theatre menu which was £12.50 for 2 courses.  I can't remember exactly what everyone else had but I chose asparagus and hollandaise to start, and then corn fed chicken in parma ham for main.  The desserts were extra, I had raspberry creme brulee which was gorgeous... I also finished Sharon's off too as she couldn't manage it!  q5

At the start of the meal we order 3 bottles of Pino Grigio Blush, which was yummy, and Steve and Sharon order a bottle of red between them.

The service was great, very quick, but I guess this was because they assumed we were off to the theatre... my food was nice, could have done with a bit more, and the fries were a bit too crispy for my liking.

The bill came to £227 ish I think, for 7 people.  We had put together a kitty at the beginning of the day, so what was left of that paid for some of it and we divided the rest.  Mine came to about £25.

Overall a very nice restaurant, fast service and nice food.  q14

And here are the pictures of the whole meet if anyone hasn't seen them already - http://www.facebook.com/album.php...5634&l=12a2f&id=633161720
