I made this yesterday...it looks and taste's lovely, but next time I will add more chestnuts, as I could really taste them.

For Bread Machine (large loaf)

1 large glug of Olive Oil, or a flavoured oil of your choice.
360 mls tepid water
1 med egg
1 1/2 lbs Flour for bread with cereals
(NOTE SO FAR I HAVE IMPERIAL, METRIC AND GLUGS)
7g dried yeast
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp sugar (brown, white, your choice)
250 - 500g chestnut meats, crushed (be sure all the pellicle is removed)

I cook on my speciality setting which takes 3 hrs 50 mins.
I often add the mealnge of seeds (pumpkin, sunflower and a n other I cannot remember), so the chestnuts were a replacement.
I made it the other day, using lemon oil. I had forgotten, but as I was eating my toast, there was a subtle lemon flavour.

I'd love some simple recipes for bread without a breadmaker. Like in the old days - she says, giving her age away again.
