Dramatic demonstrations, including an autopsy on a 25-stone man, are used as the celebrity chef is joined by fitness expert Dr Catherine Spencer-Smith and anatomist Dr Gunther von Hagens to illustrate the dangers of unhealthy eating to 18 volunteers with unbalanced diets. Experts reveal today's children may die younger than their parents if nothing is done, so Jamie and his team show people how they can live longer. Part of The Big Food Fight season.

Did anyone see this?
We watched about half I think, as we wanted to watch something else first.
It was very well done, and many of the hand picked audience members discovered stuff about themselves that was pretty shocking.
2 things stand out for me.
1. Hidden salt in takeaways, pizzas, indians, chinese etc....if you all cut down on these, you'll dramatically cut down on your salt intake and become healthier.
2. 3 people did a lung and heart function test on the treadmill, the least obese (slimmish guy) was the least fittest. When they did an MRI scan, they discovered that despite being slim, he had 50% body fat, loads of it under his skin. Amazing......so much hidden stuff going on that you would never know.
The autopsy was gruesome, as is the bloke that does it as a performance art
Hope I am not the only one who watched it. It had some very important nutrional info in it, that could make a big difference to those who eat pre prepared ready meals, or processed food.
