And have no plans until work next Thursday... woohoo!!!  I seriously need another holiday and plan on going away next year, a week with my family has done my head in yet again!  q9

Anyway hope everyone is ok... will be about now for a few days, will try and get some stuff posted too, it's been a bit quiet!

Yes family can be stressful at this time of year... my Dad especially!!!  q5

I'd love to go on a cruise, but like you it will be funds depending!  q9

Hey Jo, we could swap.  You could come here and look after the cat and chickens. We could have your flat and look after Alfie and see family for short bursts over Christmas.  I think you;d be very lonely here, if on your won though q5

That sounds like a plan, but only if I was with someone at the time... coz yeah being stuck in the middle of France on my own won't be fun!!  Plus I was thinking about somewhere hot...  q5

Think your Mum's idea is great! A few carefully selected friends (dog lovers tend to be the best to take on holiday..... q5 ), and a book or three....

Think the problem with Xmas, is that expectations are too high. We all expect to have a wonderful time, and the event itself can be an anti-climax.

Aint that the truth? LOL

However, all you guys with Christmassy type avatars - does the same thing apply after 12th night????  Wouldn't want you all to get into trouble with Santa?

On a serious note - was in the hairdressers earlier - can anyone confirm if it is a myth that women have one more rib than men?
