Hi, I have lived in the Limousin in France for just over 2 years with my husband, 2 dogs, 30+ chickens, 4 geese and assorted ducks. I enjoy cooking and adapting recipes to my taste or to what I have available.
I am an avid reader of anything that takes my fancy. I bought a job lot of 1,000 books to bring over to France with me, the idea being that in retirment I would have time to sit and enjoy them, one day I may fulfill that dream.
Apart from that, NannyP doen't like us talking about home baked bread with lashings of butter on the Poultry Keeper Forum, she puts her fingers in her ears and makes a lot of noise and she gave a loud hint that we would be better discussing it over here.

1000 books??? Blimey... I don't think I could even read my 100 in a lifetime!
