Deliciouslyorkshire keeps Food & Drink Local at Countryside Live - 27th - 28th October 2007
From fantastic meringues to award-winning cheeses, the flavours of Yorkshire are as varied as the Yorkshire landscape. With consumers increasingly demanding home-grown goodies and local sourcing, food miles, freshness, traceability and low carbon footprints all key issues, Deliciouslyorkshire will be showcasing food and drink from 26 Yorkshire producers on stand R90 at the Countryside Live Show.
Deliciouslyorkshire’s eclectic taste of Yorkshire will include such favourites as award-winning speciality pork pies and preserves, and omega oil-packed venison. You’re bound to find something under the Deliciouslyorkshire banner to take your fancy.
And there will also be an opportunity to win big prizes celebrating the region such as a weekend away in some of the region’s finest town and cities and a festive food hamper full of local delicacies. Just pick up a free packet of parsley seeds and answer the simple question online.

If you can’t make the show, why not grab a copy of the Deliciouslyorkshire Guide to Food and Drink?
