While making my dinner I noticed the best before date on the butter, does it go off? I tend to just use it until it's gone, it's always been ok. The butter I just used was best before 22nd May!! :shock: _________________ Positive Change |

| never lasts long enough in our house as I only buy butter, but it can be frozen :D |

Butter can go rancid if it's not kept at the right temperature. If you taste a little bit you'll soon know.
I always freeze it.
